Indoor House League Registration will begin Oct 2nd- space is limited


 

Our Indoor House League is a 9 week recreational indoor coed program for boys and girls in the following age brackets: 4 year old players (need to be 4 by the first night of soccer, Nov 16th), under 6 (5-6 year olds), under 8 (7-8 years olds) and under 10 (9-10 year olds).  For ages U6-U10, we abide by the NYSWYSA Age Matrix that follows a Aug 1st-July 31st age model.  Click here to see where your child's birth date lies within the matrix.

The program is designed to teach children the basics of soccer while also having fun. Our main goal is to help develop those basic skills through instruction and activities. Each league meets once a week for one hour (U4 meets for 45 minutes) on a designated night/time. Due to limited gym time and space, we only offer U4-U10 leagues (our outdoor summer program offers U4-U16 age groups).

The first 30 minutes is for the technical aspect of the game (foot skills) and activity games.  The second 30 minutes is for small sided games. The players are divided into teams randomly each week. This allows coordinators to even out teams and players as needed. We try to make sure every player experiences some challenges and some success as too much of either is not good for player enjoyment or development.

The coordinators are trained individuals that have a strong soccer background and work well with kids.

The program will take place at both Armor and Pinehurst Elementary Schools in the Hamburg and Frontier School Districts during select nights of the week.  The program runs from mid November through mid Febuary. This is a one day a week program, and the session start and finish dates are below on the spreadsheet. The dates that the schools are closed are also included below under NO SOCCER DATES. We have taken into account the closed dates and have adjusted your schedule accordingly. Complete schedules will be posted on the website.

If the school district (Armor-Hamburg School District and Pinehurst-Frontier School District) is closed due to inclement weather, soccer will be canceled for that evening.  If soccer is canceled for the evening, we will post on the website and send out an email as soon as possible. There will not be any make up days for soccer cancelations due to inclement weather. If, at any point, you believe it is unsafe to travel (due to weather conditions), please refrain from bringing your child to soccer for the night.

Players will need to wear shin guards, proper footwear (gym sneakers), gym shorts/sweatpants,  and bring water. Players will also need to bring a soccer ball; size 3 for U4-U6, size 4 ball for U8-U10 age groups. 

 ADDITIONAL NOTES FOR INDOOR PROGRAM

  • When the weather is wet outside, please try to avoid tracking water or snow into the gym. Have kids change shoes when entering school. Wet floors can cause slipping and injuries.
  • Please keep children from running or playing in the hallways. Thank you for your cooperation.

COST and REGISTRATION:

$80 per player. You can pay online with credit/debit card or, mail in a check (after you register online). We, unfortunately, cannot reserve a space until full payment is received.
There will be an additional $5 cost associated with any late registrations (starting November 1st). The cost includes 10 sessions of instruction and small sided games, insurance, t-shirt, and a participation medal on the last night.

 SPACE IS LIMITED - REGISTER EARLY

Online Registration begins October 2nd, 2012. To register, log in to your existing account or create an account (upper right corner of our website). Due to space constraints, the group sizes are small and space is limited.

LATE REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN NOVEMBER 1st- A $5 LATE FEE WILL BE INCLUDED.

PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE NOVEMBER 1st,  OR A $5 LATE FEE WILL BE INCLUDED.

DUE TO THE SMALL GROUP SIZE, THERE WILL BE A WAITING LIST. IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED BEFORE NOVEMBER 9th, YOUR SPOT WILL BE GIVEN TO THE NEXT PERSON ON THE WAITING LIST.

IF YOU ARE ON THE WAITING LIST, YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BY EMAIL AS SOON AS A SPOT OPENS TO ACCEPT THE OPEN POSITION.

 

UNIFORMS:

Players will receive a participation t-shirt on their first scheduled night.

Players are responsible for bringing:

  • Shin-guards (mandatory for playing)
  • Water
  • Soccer ball
    • size 3 ball for U4-U6
    • size 4 ball for U8-U10

LOCATION:

Monday and Wednesday Leagues (U6 and U8) will be held at Armor Elementary School in the Hamburg School District, 5301 Abbott Rd, Hamburg NY 14075.

Fridays Leagues (U4, U6, U8) will be held at Armor Elementary School of the Hamburg School District, 5301 Abbott Rd, Hamburg NY 14075.
The Friday U10 League will be held at Pinehurst Elementary of the Frontier School District, 6050 Fairway Court, Lakeview, New York 14085.

IMPORTANT U8 FRIDAY 7:45-845pm PROGRAMMING CHANGE

Indoor House U8 Friday from 7:45-8:45pm at Armor Elementary starting Nov 16th.

We have lost our time slot in the school starting Jan 1st. We have found space at Pinehurst Elementary from 8-9pm on those Friday nights.

This is new U8 Friday Schedule:

Nov 16th - Dec 14th - Armor Elementary from 7:45pm-8:45pm
Jan 4th - Feb 8th - Pinehurst Elementary from 8:00pm-9:00pm

SCHOOL CANCELLATIONS/INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:

The schools, on occasion, will have a activity date change in the middle of the season.  If this occurs, soccer will need to be canceled for that evening. If soccer is canceled for the evening, we will post on the website and send out an email as soon as possible. There will not be any make up days for soccer cancelations.  We communicate, in great detail, while designing the program, to account for all school functions that fall within the program dates.
